When you are starting out, weights, and all exercise in fact, can be a struggle. It’s important to remember that we all started out as beginners at one stage. These workouts are not about completing every single one from start to finish, instead focus on where you started off on day one and build on that day by day. Whether it’s an extra rep, an extra few seconds of an exercise or an extra minute added to the workout, that is what we call progressive overload. If you continuously work on small advancements from where you started out, you will reap the endless rewards that come from regular exercise. There should be no all or nothing attitude when it comes to exercising. Every single improvement is a huge win, celebrate it and keep pushing on.
